TreeRouter Privacy Policy

TreeRouter (the "Platform", "we", or "us") understands the importance of privacy to its users (hereafter "you"). This policy transparently describes how we handle data involved in your use of our API integration gateway. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this policy.

To provide a stable and secure API routing service, we collect only the information we need:

Account & identity information: Email address and username. Used for sign-in, password recovery and important system notifications.

Financial transaction information: Top-up records, account balance and spending history. Used for billing management and transaction reconciliation.

Technical log data: When you make an API request, we log the request timestamp, the model version used, token consumption and the request status (success / failure).

As an API relay gateway, the Platform strictly observes the following data-handling principles:

No persistence: The contents of your API requests (prompts) and model responses (completions) flow through system memory only. We do not store them persistently. Once the request completes, the relevant plaintext content is immediately destroyed from cache.

No training: We commit to never using any of your request data to train AI models.

End-to-end encryption: The Platform uses enterprise-grade TLS/SSL across the board, ensuring that data is not intercepted in transit between your client and the Platform, or between the Platform and upstream providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).

The data we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

Service operations: Processing your API requests and routing them to the corresponding upstream interfaces.

Billing accounting: Automatic balance deduction based on your token consumption.

Security: Monitoring malicious attacks and abusive behavior to safeguard platform stability.

Customer support: Responding to your technical inquiries and troubleshooting requests.

To deliver the service, your API requests are forwarded — as instructed — to third-party AI service providers.

Forwarded to: Including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral and others.

Disclaimer: Third-party providers handle data subject to their own privacy policies. The Platform acts only as a transmission medium and is not legally responsible for the data-handling practices of upstream providers.

Key encryption: The API keys you generate on the Platform are stored in the database under strong hash-based encryption.

Access control: Only essential technical operations personnel may access server internals under controlled conditions, and they have no access to your live request content.

Management rights: You may modify your registration information at any time, or request account deletion when you no longer use the service.

Security obligations: You are responsible for safeguarding your TreeRouter account password and API keys. The Platform is not liable for balance losses caused by your disclosure of keys.

We may update this policy based on business developments or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via in-product announcements or email.
